Holistic therapies can help you to achieve optimum health and vitality and alleviate some of the strain of life.
Holistic therapies have been used in one form or another across all cultures throughout history.
I offer a range of therapies which can be carried out on their own or combined with others to provide a personalised approach to your health requirements.
I am a fully qualified holistic therapist (details of my qualifications can be seen on the about me page), and a practicing member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
My clinic is based at The Orchard Counselling and Complementary Therapy Centre, Horsforth, Leeds.

Some of the common reasons that people seek therapy are:
- Relaxation - all complementary therapies will provide some element of relaxation, it is often a matter of personal preference as to which therapy would best provide this for you. My personal preference would be hot stone massage
- Relieve pain or discomfort - pain can be alleviated by several different therapies, take a look at the individual therapy pages for more information about how
- Relieve muscular tension and strain - massage or Thai massage are often the approach that would be used for this problem however reflexology has been used when a person prefers a less direct approach
- Relieve stress - again all holistic therapies will offer relief from stress in some way but a treatment that seems to come top of the list for some people is Indian head massage
- Alleviate sleeping problems - the most often accessed therapies for this issue are aromatherapy, massage and reflexology
- Soothe digestive disorders - aromatherapy and reflexology seem to be the most used therapies for this
- Relieve headaches and migraine - aromatherapy, massage and reflexology
- Calm respiratory conditions - aromatherapy or reflexology are often used for this reason but ear candling can also be very effective
- Soothe skin conditions - aromatherapy or reflexology
- Relieve anxiety - most therapies will tackle this issue
- Lift low mood - any therapy can be used for this but aromatherapy and reflexology are the most popular choices
- Boost wellbeing - all therapies will boost your wellbeing
- Assist the body’s natural defence mechanisms - aromatherapy or reflexology are often specifically chosen for this purpose
- Increase energy - Reiki would be my first suggestion for anything energy related
